Councilmember David Carter has a long history of service, from providing us with a thriving and healthy environment through his work with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, to educating the young people of our state as an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, to serving as our Democratic Councilmember since 2018. Now more than ever, we need to re-elect David in District 6 to protect and preserve the community we love.
Councilmember Carter has taken a stand against county policies and corporate greed that would overdevelop the area, replace our greenspace with warehouses, and infiltrate our neighborhoods with industrial buildings. He has fought to ensure adequate infrastructure and public amenities like emergency services keep pace with the area’s growth.
He is the trusted voice of Southern New Castle County and the only person who can balance the growth of our area with the preservation of our quality of life.
